WHO IS BEHIND ADAC - DEFENCE & AERONAUTICAL CONSULTING?

Enrique Barrientos is a senior executive with an established track record in the defense and aerospace industry, with more than 35 years of experience in international business development, strategic planning and operations management. His in-depth knowledge of political affairs and his leadership skills in high-level corporate environments have enabled him to play key roles within the sector’s leading companies.

Currently, Enrique Barrientos is a founding partner of ADAC Advanced Defense & Aeronautical Consulting, a firm specialized in strategic consulting for the defense and aeronautical sector, offering advisory services in the development of business opportunities, feasibility and market studies, as well as support in the acquisition and management of government contracts and corporate acquisitions.

Prior to founding ADAC, he held executive positions in prestigious international companies such as Airbus Defence & Space (former EADS and Cassidian), where he was CEO of Cassidian Spain, member of the Supervisory Board of Eurofighter GmbH and part of the Board of Directors of EADS CASA SA. In these positions, he managed strategic operations with multi-million dollar budgets and led
high-performance teams on key projects for the aerospace industry.

He has also been Vice President Business Development of the Military Transport Division at EADS France, Director of European Sales at CASA and responsible for Political Affairs within the EADS group, strengthening relations with government administrations and international organizations in the fields of defense, security and aeronautics.

As an investor, he is a partner in Pinama Investments, a specialized markets investment firm, and was a founder of Sievert Partners LLC, a global network of business development and strategic consulting experts.

Enrique Barrientos holds a master science in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSIA) and has complemented his training with senior management programs at IESE Business School, where he completed the PADE (Senior Management Program) and the PDD (Management Development Program).

Thanks to his fluency in Spanish and English, he has led negotiations and projects in international markets, consolidating his reputation as an expert in defense, aviation and business strategy.
